Super easy smoothie in a Ziploc

No Excuse Smoothie

Pick

1 or 2 greens of your choice – spinach, kale, Swiss chard (using Baby Swiss chard will be tender and mild).

 Add Fruit

1/2 cup of fruit – 1/2 frozen banana will make it creamy and sweet, or if you prefer, wild blueberries, blueberries, strawberry, pineapple, or mango. 

 Add Healthy Fat

 Healthy fat (choose one): 1 Tbs. chia seeds, 1/4 avocado, 1 Tbs. cacao nibs, 1 Tbs. flex seeds, 6 raw almonds.   

 Add Protein

 Make sure to have 15 gr of protein – Hemp seed hearts, Spirulina, a scoop of protein powder. You can also add Greek yogurt or almond yogurt as well.

I recommend adding the protein when you are ready to make your shake and not storing it in the plastic bag.

 Label the plastic bag and put in the freezer. for storage When you’re ready for your shake, put in the blender with a cup of almond milk (or any milk of your choice).
